Our History
The story of GolSam Gorgan Chemical Company begins with the vision of the late Mohammad‑Mehdi Rahmati, who started his activities in the agricultural chemical sector in the 1950s through collaboration with a chemical enterprise. At that time, agricultural pesticides were mainly imported, and he took the first steps by supplying these products while pursuing a larger vision: establishing domestic production in Iran.
In the 1960s, this vision became reality with the establishment of two production lines in eastern Gorgan, marking one of the earliest initiatives for local production of agricultural pesticides in the country.
In 1993, the company was officially registered and its manufacturing facilities were relocated to Bandar‑e Gaz Industrial Town, enabling operations on a larger industrial scale. The new plant, built on a 3.5‑hectare site, began production with an initial annual capacity of 3,000 tons of various pesticide formulations.
By 2000, GolSam had achieved access to a full range of common pesticide formulations and entered a new stage of development. During this period, the company expanded its portfolio by producing liquid and solid micronutrient fertilizers, increasing the diversity of its products to more than 100 types of fertilizers and pesticides, while raising its annual production capacity to 20,925 tons.
In 2016, the company broadened its scope by launching two production lines dedicated to household pesticides in both powder and liquid formulations, further strengthening its presence in the market.
Continuing its commitment to the advancement of Iran’s agricultural sector, GolSam initiated a major project in 2019 focused on the development and production of hybrid vegetable seeds. The project has been conducted at the Bahramabad Research Site in Abyek and involves the collaboration of more than 100 specialized experts. In 2023, the company successfully introduced its first commercial open‑field hybrid tomato varieties to the Iranian market, with the development of additional hybrid crops currently underway.

Leveraging more than half a century of experience from the GolSam Gorgan Industrial Group, Yeganeh Kood Alagol Company began its operations in 2025 in the Aqqala Industrial Town of Gorgan with an innovative and forward‑looking approach.
The company was established to address the specialized needs of Iran’s agricultural market and to elevate the quality of agricultural inputs to international standards. To achieve this goal, it has launched advanced production lines dedicated to the manufacturing of various types of agricultural fertilizers.
